Abhijit Roy

Vice President

Abhijit Roy is a Vice President at Affirma Capital and is part of the India team. He is based in Mumbai.

Abhijit has over 20 years of experience in investor relations, fund raising, product development, communication, and business development across the financial services space.

Prior to joining Affirma Capital, Abhijit was with Paragon Partners, a mid-market private equity fund manager in India. Prior to that, he was with National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), India’s first sovereign wealth fund. He had previously led fund raising and investor relations at True North, a leading buyout focused private equity fund manager in India.

Abhijit has also worked with Fitch Ratings, Fidelity Mutual Fund, AIG Investments, Tata Mutual Fund and Reliance Industries in research, product, and marketing & communication roles.

Abhijit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Calcutta and a Masters in Management Studies degree from the University of Mumbai.
